Zi - an adoption story

In September 2011, Jenn Watson left on the World Race and prayed that God would use her to do his will in the world. Jenn and her team spent their second month of the Race in China serving at an orphanage for children with special needs. She met a little boy named Zi, and both their lives changed forever.

When we first heard the amazing story of Zi's journey to finding a family, we fell in love. We couldn't help but tell it in a way that not only shared the beauty of Zi's adoption, but connects his story to the greater narrative of adopted sons and daughters all over the world.

We were able to work with Zi's family to create an extremely comprehensive documentary experience. We paired the video series with a series of blogs, emails, photos, and a social media campaign. The release of "Zi" was celebrated in churches all over the country in coordination with National Adoption Day.
